Paper Piecing Pattern: Christmas Tree Wall Hanging

Last year I made this Christmas Tree Wall Hanging:

I said that I would post the pattern and I never did...and then I lost the pattern. HOWEVER, yesterday I was moving some shelves and I found my binder full of patterns! The tree is made by paper piecing. If you have never done it, here is a tutorial. It's like quilting by number.

Com-pleat Madness

I needed some new pillow shams to match my new bedspread. The other ones just weren't cutting it for me! So I made these over the weekend:

I still need to make some more husband is just thrilled with all these pillows I keep making!*

Happy Sewing!

*haha, not.

Baby quilt FINISHED

Done! I used a grey polka dot for the border from It's a Hoot by Momo. The grey is Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Ash and the white is from the Bella Solids collection. The fabrics in the middle are from Aneela Hoey's Sherbet Pips collection, of course. I decided I really enjoy machine quilting, and I might be brave enough to try a larger quilt next time.

More Stippling

Here's my second attempt at stippling. I am still trying to figure out the correct tension on my machine, but it went pretty well.

Sunkissed Stars Summer Table Runner

I went outside my usual comfort zone with these orange fabrics from (you guessed it) A Modern Affair.

I also attempted my first stippling on my machine! It went better than I expected. Stippling is pretty forgiving.

More Sherbet Pips

I am feeling non-crafty lately, but I managed to make this quilt out of the pink Sherbet Pips scraps. I think it turned out okay.

This border fabric isn't part of the collection, but the color matched perfectly! I think I might attempt to machine quilt this one...if I dare...

Pinwheels and Windows

This fabric is from Patricia Bravo's collection A Modern Affair. I especially heart this pinwheel:

Now I need to add a border...

Sherbet Pips Baby Quilt

Yes, I am just as much in love with this fabric as everyone else! Sherbet Pips by Aneela Hoey. I love the darling puppies and the children on swing sets and scooters. Adorable.

I mixed in some other fabrics for the border and the binding. There are not a lot of fabric stores in beautiful Tucson, but luckily I was able to stock up on some items at Scrapbooks, Etc. in Mesa. They have some adorable Moda fabrics.

Happy sewing!

Charming Hearts Baby Quilt

I had some extra squares from my Fandango charm pack, so I decided to make a baby quilt. I just need to do the binding. I think it turned out pretty cute.
